The End;

the rope broke for a reason
I know it hurts, I know it does
when yesterday refuses to say goodbye
no matter how many demons you slay
the biggest one refuses to die

the rope broke for a reason
you discovered life at such
a vulnerable age
inside a hidden sadness
you couldn’t explain

the rope broke for a reason
twenty one is too young to be too sad
so turn your back on yesterday
do not stop tomorrow saying hello
so please remember

the rope broke for a reason
the rope broke.
